  MAINTAINING A DOG'S HEALTH

In this issue of your FREE On-Line Newsletter, we are going to
discuss MAINTAINING your pet's health.  Preventing illness is our
forte. It is much easier and less costly to prevent an illness
than have your best friend suffer while you and your veterinarian try
to diagnose what is ailing your dog.  It is substantially easier
emotionally and financially to provide your dog with all that it
needs to maintain a healthy, robust body with vitality and vigor.
Excellent health begins and ends with excellent nutrition.

If all the food that our pets eat today were as full
of all of the requirements that is recommended for our dogs, then
there would not be any need for veterinarians, supplements, or
additives of any sort.  As the basis of excellent health in all
animals is excellent wholesome, clean nutritional food, then there
would be virtually no illness in dogs.  They would merely die of old
age and would or should be healthy until the day they die if the food
nutritionists theories are sound.  Such however, is not the case.

More and more dogs are sick and dying at very very young ages with a whole complex of different diseases.  According to our professionals, the fundamental crux of these problems lie in the lack of essential trace minerals in the American dog's diets.  These elements are lacking because the necessary trace mineral elements of life are lacking in the soils where the food is produced for our pets and unfortunately for the human population as well.

Nutritional studies with animals as far back as the 1930's warned of
the lack of trace minerals in our soils.  At that time, 60% of the
soils of America were shown to be completely depleted of trace
minerals.    A more recent study of American soils conducted by the
World Health Organization in 1996 and 1997 have shown that American soils are 100% depleted of the essential trace elements that are so vital to health and vigor in animals and man.  If the soil does not have the minerals present, then the necessary ingredients for a
healthy life is not in the plant.  If it is not in the plant, then it
is not in the food we feed our pets and ourselves.  Consequently,
the tremendous numbers of chronically ill pets and people in our
country today.

So what does one do?  First, feed your pet organically produced foods if at all possible.  Organic farmers regularly re-mineralize their
soils in order to produce the most healthful wholesome food possible.

If this is not possible, then one needs to supplement their pet with
trace minerals in their daily diet.   The Canine Medicine Chest has a
product called Concentrated Trace Minerals that is so highly
concentrated that it only takes 5 drops per gallon of water.  One
small bottle will treat approximately 300 gallons of water and it only
costs $22.  This comes out to 7 cents per gallon of water.  We don't
think this is very expensive.

We have been using this wonderful natural chelated mineral product on a regular basis for our and our customers pets for years.  The
product actually has been available to the general public for the
past fifty years.  In fact, this product has produced such wonderful
healthful results for our pets that we people at the Canine Medicine
Chest take these same trace minerals in our daily supplements too.
The second product we recommend in order to maintain a very healthy dog, is the Canine Vita Pak.  This is an all-natural combination of vitamins and regular minerals like calcium, magnesium etc. Canine Vita Pak has been specifically formulated for dogs of all breeds and sizes We emphasize all-natural because first, your dog cannot absorb
synthetic vitamins or minerals and second, because these natural
vitamins and minerals are non-toxic as they are passed through and
out of the body if they are not absorbed.  The Canine Vita Pak is
$15 and will treat 50 gallons of water.  This comes out to 30 cents
per gallon of water.

Finally, the third product we recommend for maintaining your favorite
companions excellent health is the ProBac Adult that was discussed
in our first newsletter.  This wonderful product that has been used
in the animal health industry since 1874 is a flora balancer which
enables your pet to absorb the nutrients you are providing at the
most optimum.   The digestive system has to be properly balanced with positive and negative bacteria in order to have excellent absorption of the foods your dog ingests.  ProBac Adult will provide the proper and necessary balance.  Additionally ProBac Adult improves the immune system by aiding the body in absorbing good nutrition.  The ProBac Adult costs $20 and will treat 50 gallons of water.  This comes out to 40 cents per gallon of water.

In summary, we reiterate---it is less costly to supply your best
friend with the necessary tools of good health in addition to an
excellent food program than it is to pay veterinarian bills and
cause your pet needless discomfort and suffering.  We have seen
the results of an excellent maintenance program such as this for
years and years with hundreds of dogs.  There is no substitute for
good health.  A supplement program of approximately 75 cents per day for your best friend is the best insurance policy you can give him or her to fortify their health.

A question that everyone asks-----doesn't my dog's food have all the
necessary ingredients in it.  Our answer is generally no.  Most dog
food consists of pellets.  Pellets are cooked food.  In the pelleting
process, high heat is used to make the pellets.  The food quality and
measuring is done before the pelleting process before approximately
60% of the food value is cooked out during the pelleting process.
In effect, you are giving your pet leftovers.  That is why it is so
necessary for a good all-natural supplement program.

Don't waste any time.  Prevent arthritis, diabetes, eye disease, skin
problems, bacterial/yeast problems.  These and many many more complex health problems can be prevented by a good solid all-natural
supplement program.  Start your dog today and see the results next
week.  It is that important.

Best regards,

The Team
